Dress Code

Kolbe Foundation Rules & Regulations

No controversial or objectionable gang, obscene, drug and alcohol designs, messages or profanity on clothing. No camouflage, or solid green or solid black. Shoes are required. Visitors are not to wear any garment which unduly exposes the shoulders, chest, back, stomach, and/or underarm. Necklines must be within two inches of notch of neck. Clothing made of sheer, transparent, net or mesh materials are not allowed. Clothing designed or intended to be tightly worn, to excessively accent the body, e.g. spandex, tights, leggings, tank tops etc. is not allowed. Appropriate undergarments are required, but should not be visible. Dresses, skirts, jumpers, shorts, shall not be worn if more than KNEE HEIGHT AND/OR BELOW THE KNEE WHEN STANDING. Slit dresses/skirts shall be allowed only if the slit is at or below the knee. Wrap-around clothing will not be allowed. aNo caps/hats are allowed on the facility.

Visit Time.  Duration of all visits is 30 minutes. Identification.  At the main visitor’s gate, individuals must present a valid identification card (Social Security, Passport, Voters Id or Driver’s License).  Visitors without a valid ID will not be allowed on the premise.  The Officer at the main gate will issue a number, visitors must wait their turn at the waiting area until their number is called. 

Number Ticket System.  When the number is called, the visitor must proceed to the Control Section, present their ID Cards and declare the items (if any) brought for the inmate.  Control Officers will thoroughly search the items and document.
Cell phones, cameras or other electrical devices are NOT allowed in the Premise.  No carry-on/handbags are allowed inside the Visitors Box (this is the designated area where visits are allowed while inside the Prison). 

Visitor Screening.  All visitors are subject to bodily searches before heading to the Visitors Box. Smoking.  Smoking is prohibited on the Premise. 

Minors.  Minors (under the age of 18 years) must be accompanied by an approved authorized adult.

Qualified Visitors.  Only family members or legal advisors are allowed to visit inmates.  Prison has the discretion to approve or deny any visit.
Money.  Inmates are allowed a maximum of $20 (excess cash will be confiscated).  Provision is made at the Control Area for visitors who want to give inmates cash in excess of $20.
Visits at Specific Locations.  Visitors visiting the Wagner’s Youth Facility, Females Section, Tango 1 (IFFB program), Tango 10 and Tango 11 will receive their visits at these particular locations.  Officers will escort visitors to the specific location.

Prohibited Items

All types of Fruits and Vegetables
Cigarettes, Cigars or related products
Glass or metal containers, Metal Pots, Spoons, Forks, Knives, Aluminum Foil, etc. Cell Phones, Cameras or Electronic Devices or Appliances.

All food items must be in transparent plastic

bags or containers.
